Activities

The Criminal Law Committee is a collegiate body that acts as a peer support network and a useful pool of expertise for people taking on matters outside their comfort zone. We also work to resolve policy and procedural matters of importance to our profession and the general public.

The Committee’s activities, direction and focus are very much driven by our members.

Our activities focus on:

  • Support – connecting practitioners through face-to-face monthly meetings, events and email news.
  • Education – helping practitioners understand civil litigation via publications and CLE seminars.
  • Policy work – issuing policy submissions to governments and law reform agencies.
